During the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top News and Magazines apps on a unified platform in Venezuela showcased varied trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Noticias Locales exhibited a notable surge in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 77.8K in late July. This boost was mirrored in weekly active users, which rose to around 112.6K during the same period. However, both metrics saw a gradual decline toward the end of the quarter.

Noticias Sin Filtro experienced a dramatic spike in downloads, reaching 91.1K in the week of July 22. Following this peak, the app's download numbers decreased significantly, settling at a few hundred weekly downloads by the end of September.

CGTN – China Global TV Network saw an early high in downloads with over 31K in the second week of July. However, this was followed by a steep decline, with downloads dropping to under 200 by the quarter's end. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 15K before tapering off.

Tomorrow's Affairs had an interesting trajectory, with downloads peaking at approximately 10.2K in mid-August. Active users also increased significantly, reaching about 70.2K in early August, before both metrics decreased towards the end of September.

Lastly, CNN: Breaking US & World News showed a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 7.7K in late July. Active users also saw growth, with numbers climbing to 14.1K in the same period, before stabilizing at lower levels by the end of the quarter.
